Carlton Wilborn presents an elegant, powerful and professional presence. As an award-winning author and highly respected, life coach, host and performer, his dynamic style and unique configurations of strength and versatility have kept him front and center on many stages of life.
Dancer
Wilborn began his professional career as a principal dancer with the world renowned Hubbard Street Dance Company in Chicago. Combining street savvy and urban sensibilities with an inherent elegance and commitment to integrity, he naturally commands the stage. As a dancer he is a force to be reckoned with; and as a choreographer, director, and dance instructor, he guides the pursuits of fellow artists with the same level of excellence and creativity he brings to his own craft.
After working as a soloist for five consecutive years in Ruth Page’s Nutcracker, and as a resident guest artist for nine months with Ballet Met, Carlton followed his internal compass to Hollywood. He rapidly became recognized as one of the city’s premiere dancers, landing the position of Madonna’s pillar of strength for the Blond Ambition and The Girlie Show tours.
Throughout his career, he has worked with many distinguished artists and entertainment legends such as Herb Alpert, Natalie Cole, Janet Jackson and Michael Jackson; choreographer Twyla Tharp; legendary photographer Herb Ritts; Tony Award-winning director George C. Wolfe, and powerhouse producer Joel Silver, among many others.
Choreographer & Director
Mr. Wilborn has directed Music Videos and shows for major corporate entertainment events, with Cisco Systems and EDS. His dynamic choreography has brought excitement to many music video artists, most notably Janet Jackson and Madonna. His choreography was also celebrated in the Loose Interpretation commercial campaign for Levi Straus, as well as, in the motion picture Yellow. His one-of-a-kind “Dance” Master Classes have been appreciated throughout North America.
Actor
Carlton has appeared in over twenty film, TV and stage projects, including the recently released feature film The Boarder, and the recent inspirational stage play Overcome Overjoyed!. Madonna’s
documentary feature Truth or Dare, the Richard Gere movie Hoax; stage plays Blade to the Heat for the New York Shakespeare Festival and The Ten Commandments at the Kodak Theater in Los Angeles; television shows “Lincoln Heights,” “NYPD Blue,” “The Practice,” “CSI: Miami,” “L.A. Firefighters,” “Fame L.A.,” “Oprah Winfrey Presents: Tuesdays with Morrie,” and “Made Men”; and National Commercials Campaigns for Levi Strauss, Round Table Pizza, Toyota, Visa, AT&T, Chrysler, TJ Max, Cisco Systems, Time-Warner and Orkin. As a voice-over artist Mr. Wilborn has also worked with Panasonic, Orkin, Cisco Systems and Southern California Edison.
Writer
With his Treelife Publishing Company, Carlton is building a library of inspiring and empowering books and CDs. Which, includes his award-winning, autobiography Front & Center—How I Learned to Live There, his I Am Empowered—Igniting Freedom, Courage and Healing!, personal development curriculum, and the Spoken-Word Inspirational CD A Call For The Warriors. He has also been a contributing writer, with “Consciousness” articles for both Frontiers and The GMan Magazine.

On-Camera/Radio Host & Public Speaker
Mr. Wilborn has been a dynamic and in-demand on-camera host and public speaker for many years. He is proficient with both the tele-prompter and ear prompter. Carlton recently co-hosted, the inspirational and popular radio show No Limitz, and was the co-host, co-producer and a writer for the webisode series No Limitz. He is the writer and producer for the webisode series Front & Center and co-produced, wrote and hosted The Carlton Connection, which garnered a guest list of authors, fashion designers, musicians, choreographers and members of the military. Aside, from being a video host with Panasonic for 2 consecutive years, for the launch of the 2008 CES convention in Las Vegas, Mr. Wilborn was invited to head the Keynote for Panasonic,
with its CEO. Carlton, again, returned for the 2011 CES convention, as Panasonic’s host for their ECO Technology stage.

Awards
Mr. Wilborn was acknowledged through USA Book News for the 2007 Best Autobiography. He received the Regents Park “Artist in Residence’ award, and in 2009 through QBliss magazine he received the “Visibility Award”.
Charitable Affiliations & Contributions
Carlton has done charitable work, over the years, for St. Jude Children’s Hospital,
Project Angel Food and The Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
Mr. Wilborn lives in southern California. His daily spiritual practices help keep his truth and principles always front and center in his heart, soul, and life.
